I’m Joana, a Product Designer based in Portugal.

Instead of throwing around buzzwords like “data-driven solutions” and “immersive user experience”, I prefer to be straightforward: my goal is to help improve people’s lives through meaningful design.

At work

My work philosophy is simple: if I couldn’t come in tomorrow, could someone else take over my projects? I always make sure all my design decisions are meticulously documented, with clear links to assets and organised files and folders. And layers! Though my cable drawer might be a mess, my digital workspace is always neat and structured.

I thrive in environments where I’m surrounded by inspiring colleagues who push me to grow as a designer and can give valuable feedback.

In life

I’m a firm believer in work-life balance, and I cherish my daily hobbies. Offline, you’ll likely find me hanging out with my friends and family, drawing, sewing, singing, tackling home improvement projects, or running.

I take my time-off seriously, so much so that I can sometimes forget I have a job! Rest assured, when we work together, I’m fully present and dedicated.
